I have architectural, engineering, consultant, or project management experience directly related to resolving building envelope problems. I have at least twenty years of architectural, engineering, consultant, or project management experience directly related to resolving building envelope problems. Throughout my career, I have worked in a variety of positions (including laborer) within the construction industry. I have experience at creating quantity or material takeoffs from blueprints and/or from my analysis of existing structures. I am interested in leading a team. I have a verifiable track record of successfully leading a team. I have document layout, CAD [optional], and spreadsheet skills that will enable me to efficiently create presentations that delight clients. I can read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and specifications. I will be able to frequently visit clients and job sites within the city of Boston. I have familiarity with building codes and regulations that are applicable to the City of Boston. I will be able to climb ladders, traverse staging, ride in a lift bucket, pick stuff up, put stuff down, run a hose, use tools, brave the elements, and climb stairs. My field of vision (my eyesight) enables me to view things up close, far away, in color, at all angles, and in low light. I am comfortable occasionally working with a safety harness on, and at heights that may exceed 50 feet. I understand that working for the Building Sciences team will require me to attend meetings in Boston, in Canton MA, and/or on Zoom. I have directly led or participated in field investigative work including water testing, destructive testing, and other types of field testing. I have directly led or participated in remedial solutions design, including the creation of restoration documents.
